anyone have info on trunk release wire on a 2007 Yaris. It must have one 'cause it is on the factory keyfob but there is nothing listed on the site.

DEI doesnt list anything, but when all else fails, access the wiring harness going to the motor, use a dmm and figure out the motor wire, and hook up a 5wire relay.
Audiovox lists white + at the front fusebox so find your wire then if the alarm's trunk release is a low current e.g. under 300milliamps neg pulse, obtain a standard 5 pin Bosch automotive type relay* and wire as follows:-
Alarm's trunk release to 85
12V+ constant fused at 15 amps to 87 and 86
Cut the white wire, then fusebox end to 87a and
trunk end to 30.
Remember to also purchase a 1N4004 diode* and place in line to the relay with the band (cathode) away from the relay. See the diagram.

Thanks guys. Audiovox doesn't list anythhing either. Car will be here tomorrow and I'll post the results. Will try to trace wire back from motor in trunk
