Hey guys , i just installed a clifford 50.7x in a es 330 with a xpress kit pk-ALL. For some reason its not remote starting. i have powered the second ignition, with an additional relay and the second starter with the onboard relay, but the car still does not crank during the remote start sequence. The car starts fine with the key. The only thing i can think of is that i reversed the green / purple starter disable wires? Can anyone confirm this is most likely the issue ? When i arm the car and attempt to start the car with the key the starter kill kicks in and acts like it should. Also tried leaving the key in the ignition cylinder during remote start sequence, and still nothing. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

-Rob

I don't know if I would call it common but if you have the starter kill is hooked up before the remote start wire that would stop it from starting. Take a test light or a meter and see is the remote start is sending power when you try to start it. The starter wire leading away from the key should inergize. Also did you verify all of your wires as you did the install or did you just follow the diagram? They can be wrong.

Learn Tach.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Sorry my previous answer was WRONG.
Cut starter 1, green to key side and violet (purple) to starter side and ONLY that way round.

Is the neutral safety switch plugged in and turned on?   Is the neutral safety wire seeing ground?   Did you change it from manual to automatic trans mode(if indeed it is automatic transmission)?  When you try to remote start and it fails, do the parking lights blink a sequence?

I was correct i reversed the green / purple starter wires. Everything fired up on the first try once i de pinned(easier than cutting and re soldering) them and swapped the postions of the green / purple wires of The main heavy gauge plug :)
