I have a few questions.  I have a 2009 Escalade with the Viper 5901 alarm and remote start.  For some reason when I disarm it sometimes it sets off the stock alarm and the horn will start honking. I was told the module just had to be reflashed or something but now after that it is doing it again. And 2nd on my escalade before the alarm

Anybody got any ideas???

What interface module.

Maybe domelight conveinence will turn your puddle lights on.

The Viper wont turn your headlights on.  (it's arms are too short)

I would return to the dealer and insist they remedy the problems, if they "The Authority", and you paid for them to do it.

I would absolutly take it back to the installer and let them trouble shoot it. The horn honking sounds almost like the factory alarm not disarming when you unlock it... It will probably never function like the factory remote start did with the climate because there is no way for them to "talk" if you will, like the factory does with the data bus. You should be able to just set your climate to full auto and let it do the work when you remote start it. If you set a temp and put it on auto even with the ac on and then remote start it, it will do heat or ac, what ever is needed.
