Hello everyone!

So I purchased a Python 872 from GoodDeals18, just got it in the mail today and was quite happy. After further investigation I noticed a few things wrong.

The first is that there is a heavy gauge wire connector that is only 8 pins, But the main box requires a 10 pin (the 8 won't fit at all...).

The second thing is that mine unit looks quite a bit different from the install guide on this site for the Viper 5701. By different I mean, that some of the connectors are in different spots and instead of having 3 connectors they are combined into 1 18 pin connector (although it only uses 17 pins)...
It also looks much different than this: newegg python 872

I emailed gooddeals18 asking them about it, but doubt they will know anything.

Has anyone else bought a python 872 and had similar issues?

So they did include the wrong cable, I was sent a replacement cable.

Although I still cannot find an installation guide for the exact model that i have only the similar viper 5701.

The 18 pin harness combines three wiring harness from the older 5701, (872, Clifford 3.3x).  The H2, 8 pin connector, the 5 pin remote start input, and the  Remote start auxiliary output, 5-pin, also the horn honk at the H2/8 position.

In the downloads section of this site find the chart for the viper 5901 lc3 quick reference install guide. Should match your wiring.

Funny.... ordered the same one about a month ago from the same place and when I went to install it I also had the 8 pin connector. I emailed them and they shipped one out the same day... Ive been searching the web for the actual install guide and found this.
