Hey guys,
I have an interesting one. I have a customer who is doing a RS-CHLCD on a 2011 Dodge Journey. While I know that Directed only lists it to work up to 2010 for the CHALL that is included in the kit, if you look on Fortin's Website the EVO-CHR will work for the 2011 Journey. That being said the EVO-CHR and the CHALL use the exact same T-Harness for the Dodges and therefor should be able to be hardwired the same way. Now the EVO-CHR calls for the T-Harness to be cut and hardwired to CAN HIGH/LOW/IN/OUT and to tap into the ignition 1 and 2 and starter wires directly off the remote start. Since the RS-CHLCD is mostly a D2D starter only, the "no connection" wires aren't listed for their respective outputs. Does anyone have a listing of what each wire's output is? I only need to know Accessory, Ignition 1 and 2, and Starter wire.

I can give you all the info you need for that as long as your doing any remote starter but an Astrostart RSCHLED or RSCHLCD.

Sorry for the delay in response.
Our shop ships to the United States, if you're interested we could hook you up with a T-Harness. Just remember that the T-harness has to be cut and hardwired to the CAN wires, as well as ignition 1 & 2, starter and accessory. I would also recommend the use of the Fortin EVO-CHR bypass, which works in conjunction with the T-Harness to make the overall install relatively easy.
See attached picture of what the wiring looks like, which shows the use of the EVO-CHR and the hardwired T-Harness. Let me know if you want any of these.

Did this vehicle last week Friday. Push button start on the new Journey requires 100 % of the wires to be accessed behind the glove box. You will need to hard wire the EVO-CHR to the BCM as well, hook up all the wires in the above diagram to the remote starter ( IGN1, IGN2, STARTER, ACC, 12+, NEG P.L. & GROUND ).
The biggest pain was the CAN HI/CAN LO plug because it didn't give you alot of length in wire to properly strip back and solder the wires. Took an extra half hour just to access all the proper plugs. Other than this, it's pretty straight forward. ** HINT: lower and remove from it's hinge the fuse panel just below the BCM to properly access the CAN wire plug **
Also, the 12+ wire was in a 2 pin plug not a 3 pin as described above. There are two plugs that have a BLACK and a RED wire for power, use which ever one you want.
Also, the EVO-CHR1 or EVO-CHR2 would both work since your going to be cutting the T-harness & your going to be programming this with the latest firmware.

Jack, I see your problem with the RS-CHLCD now. It;s exactly like the Fortin NANO starter and it's CANBUS controlled. You will need to talk to Darren ( or Darrell ) at Fortin in order to get that information.
