My Viper 5901 2-way remote wont charge until its full, and with its half charged it wont hold charge for more than 1 day.

What would be the problem, can I replace the battery inside?

You probably have a bad remote, the battery can be changed if you can find a suitable sized replacement, but, if it's new you should vouch for a new remote where you had it installed.

Thanks do you know the replacement battery model/size?

I don't think I would have warranty since I bought it from Amazon.com

130mAH

3.7 Volt

W /a small connector like a cordless phone battery

About the size of a US postage stamp, and as thick of a stick of Juicyfruit gum.

Good luck.   Maybe try MCM or one of those electronic supply outfits.

there is a guy on ebay that will replace it for you. He replaced mine and it works great. It also lasts longer.
