Im having trouble locating the unlock wire on a 1992 buick century. trying to install a keyless entry system but when using my tester, i cant find the unlock wire. supposed to a black one. however, the light blue one runs into one harness under the dash and the "black" one into another. Light blue one lights up when its tested by pushing the lock button. The black one does not. Anyone have any clue on how to help this? frustrating! thank you!

lightblue that runs from the switch to the relay when pulsed with 12 volts triggers the relay which locks the door.

pulse 12 volts to the black wire that runs from the switch to the relay and they should unlock.

the relay is probably behind or near the left kick panel.

sounds like you might be testing the wrong black wire.

if the doors are unlocking when you press the switch and you are not seeing voltage on the black wire at that moment ... you ar on the wrong wire.
