1997 Acura Integra coupe w/power windows. It has factory one-touch windows built into the driver's door switch.

I was an advanced MECP until a couple years ago. I put a convenience and security setup in and all is working perfectly. Viper 5902 remote start, 529T on sunroof, driver's priority unlock, trunk pop, battery backup.

I installed a 530T, ran wires into the driver's door between the switch and the motor for the driver's motor, and to the wires going to the passenger side switch. I used the OEM repair manual wiring diagrams. Verified the wires by tracing them visually. The wires were extended a couple feet on each side using 14 gauge wire.

Here's the problem: Using the factory door switches, the windows move down two inches, then stop. Let go of the switch and hold it again, the driver's side goes all the way down, but the passenger side repeats another 2 inches. Then four inches, then all the way. You can hear the 530T click every time the window stops moving. Doesn't matter if you one-touch or not. The driver's side did this even before I hooked up the passengers side.

Both windows roll all the way up just fine. They'll one-touch up or go up with the switches held down.

All the dip switches are off for full strength.

Is the factory one-touch causing this? Is there a way to bypass it or the limiter in the 530T? Would it be possible to toss the 530T and build it using relays (I haven't attempted to sketch it out yet).

Do I need to run the wires into the passenger door so they're between the switch and the motor?

I have never run into his, but I always wire the roll up/down moduals to the window motor wires directly, try it and see!  You may be between the switch and the one touch circuit.

Try switch 1 and 3 off then 2,4 and 5 leave on. That way works fine on my tl with 2 530t and 529t.

I will try wiring the pass side directly to the motor and moving the dip switches back to a medium setting. Thanks for the input.
