It's a manual trans, 4.0L '05 Tacoma

I'm installing a python 1401 (Viper 5101) and have run into some issues.  I haven't yet wired the clutch override wire so it won't crank, I'm not sure WHICH wire from the RS to connect to this switch to trick the CPU into thinking the clutch is depressed.

2nd problem: Today I unlocked the truck with the Python, key started the truck and the starter didn't disengage.  I turned off the truck, turned it back on, depressed the clutch to verify the RS wasn't trying to crank and it wasn't, then started again, as I dropped off the trash (30sec drive) I heard an odd noise from low on the engine, wasn't the starter grinding but as I killed the truck i heard what sounded like the starter winding down (whirring noise).  I unplugged the 8pin harness from the python, fearing my starter was toast, but it key started no problem.  Has anyone had this issue?  I did bridge the two ignition wires and two starter wires without a relay.  Some reading on here as indicated a relay might be the solution though if the starter circuit is staying engergized after starting the relay would do the same.

Tach is wired and learned.

I'm a DIYer and this is my 2nd RS install, first on a standard but by far not my first attack at 12v wiring.

suggestions?

Just to eliminate any issues, power the vehicles ignition wires separately.  Your R/S has a flex relay that
comes defaulted as Ignition2.  Use that Pink/White wire for the IGN2 circuit.  An extra 30/40A SPDT relay can
be used to power the Starter2 circuit.  Wire as follows :
Relay Pin 86 and 87 to +12V constant fused at 20A
Relay Pin 85 to Python Violet (-) 200mA Starter Output
Relay Pin 30 to Tacoma Starter2
Relay Pin 87A not used - insulate

meant to say, wire 30 to starter 2, 85 to violet wire, 86 and 87 from 12v fused?
