I installed the python 1400XP on my 2006 toyota matrix last summer. It work great. However after the toyota had the Matrix ECM recall, I had my car replaced with the NEW ECM, now the remote start is NOT working any more. Verified all wired connection are good. remote lock and unlock is fine. When i start the car, it just crank a few time and try to start, but it won't. At this time I don't know what to do at this time.....if anyone have any ideas, please HELP!!!

Here are thing that i have tried:

Removed the battery completely.

Unplug the remote start unit and verified all the wire connection.

hi,
i'm thinking the ecm stores the transponder key codes. new ecm, keys reprogrammed but the bypass module is not.

I think Ween is right. Try setting the key in the ignition switch without turning it and try to remote start it. If it goes it isn't seeing the key code anymore....

I already tried that and it won't start. it just trying to start and cranking. are there way to reset the by pass module? (XK05 TRANSPONDER IMMOBILIZER BYPASS).
