I recently purchased a refurbished python 991 remote starter. The unit itself appears to be in great shape however the only documents with it say to download the manual go to www.directed.com.
I have found the 991 manual here on this site however from what I can tell it appears I must have an older version of the 991 because the harness descriptions do not appear to be the same. My main problem is I have no idea which clips go where. I am sure there are manuals out there but I have yet been able to locate them. If any of you have access or a copy of one that would work for me please let me know.
If you need more information about my unit let me know what you need and I will get it posted.
isnt that the same unit as a Viper 5901 LC3 SST?
you might want to compare them.

Correct it is the same but again... the only instructons i can find for the viper 5901 are identical to the python 991 instructions I found. It appears as though there are different versions and the version I need I cannot locate.
The differences I can see is they just changed the harness clips on the device so the newer ones have less clips and more wires per clip whcih is going to make it difficult to install not knowing what all these wires do.
Thanks
