The alarm is only as good as the installation. If it's a good price, then go for it, but it's not going to keep your car safe if the system isn't installed properly.

jeff has a point.
if you take the time to use blk eletrical tape to tape up the wiring harness and to hide the unit really well, then it will look and work like a pro did it.

make sure you hook up to the right wires and dont just wrap and tape the connections together.

if you follow these simple steps, then you should be ok.

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WIRES WITH A METER!!!!!!!!!
do use a test light!

good luck....

No I'm not saying that at all........ I'm saying that the alarm can be a POS but with the proper installation you can probably have the car better secured than someone who went out and bought a $ 400 system but didn't know how to install it. Quote.....  I said the installation not the installer

The unit is actually pretty nice, I had one in my car and it is now in my moms car since I upgraded. The only problem I had with it was the crank time. If the car didnt start the first time, then the crank time automatically increases and on my car the car only needed a split second to fire up the second time so the unit engaged my starter too long, but other than that I was very happy with it.
