We have done several.  The alarm brand should not matter, as long as it is a reputable company.  Reputable company = someone that provides easy access to replacement remotes, and tech support.

I do at least one sprinter van a week and always use Viper, Avital or Clifford. DEI product. Also it's a good idea to use proximity/radar sensors because standard shock sensors will NOT typically go off if smashing a window all the way in the back...

Use a Clifford 330X1, have your dealer flash it for you. CAN high and low 12v+ constant, earth (ground), siren and bonnet (hood) switch, that's it. And you can download the instructions from Xpresskit.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
