I'm about to install a VIPER 5901 on this vehicle. I've found mix answers on whether or not this vehicle needs a bypass module or not. Can someone confirm whether it does or not? Thank you.

If you have a coded key then you need a bypass module.

You do need a bypass module, Buy Keyoverrideall from fortin electronics works fine and easy to install

I just went to their site. It's not compatible.

there is no chip key for that truck. super duty did not have it until 2008.
