No. If your 1998 CL has a transponder, you would need the XK05 to be flashed with the PKH2 firmware. The PKTI is for certain Toyota / Lexus vehicles. Easy enough to re-flash the XK05 module if you have the XKLoader or XKLoader2 cable.
