Find a reputable shop with a qualified installer and give him the amount of money he asks for. A few hours later the alarm will be installed and will actually work properly.

Oh how many times have a wanted to or failed to think of such a nice succinct answer, nice one Kevin.
Unfortunately mine would have been along the lines of:-
"Read your install instructions then look up the vehicle here, don't be so lazy, we're not here to hold your hand, if you think that pay us."
I'm sick of people just posting their make and model and being too lazy to look at for instance the very good database right here.
