I recently had to change my ignition switch and cylinder lock on my 95 acura integra. I now have to wire my Clifford alarm into the new ignition switch because I'm told the car will not crank until doing so, which seems to be the case because it will not start. It only beeps when I place the key in. Can anyone help and direct me as to which wires I need to wire from the alarm into the ignition in order to get my car running again please?? It would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

What model Clifford and what actually happens? Do you get ignition lights and no start?

And what do you mean "told"? Have you even tried it?

Yes, I tried it and it doesn't light up the dash when in the accessory position or crank up when in the third position. All that it does is the normal beeping signaling the key has been placed in the cylinder lock. A friend of mines who installs these alarms professionally told me.... (after describing what was happening to him) that is what would happen until the alarm was wired into the new ignition, or the alarm was completely taken out returning the car back to stock form. I can't afford to do that where I live. And he doesn't have the time to come and wire it up for me. I took a look a the brain of the alarm and it reads... Clifford G5 850. It's the type that requires my code be put in once the car is started up and in gear... if that helps any. I had no problems with the alarm itself prior to this. It worked like a charm. It was just the fact that the ignition switch went bad... by not keeping the car on once I removed my hand off the key. Which required it to be changed.

If you changed the switch and barrel why do you have to rewire your alarm? If the alarm isn't connected why doesn't the car start?
In all honestly if you can't obtain the wiring /install manual, don't do it!
Why can't your professional friend help you?
