I am wanting to know what specific alarms w/remote starts that reduce complex wiring when using idata products? If this exists?

I have not found the answer or a list on their WEB site, either.  The best person to answer this is fellow forum member "racing_bidule".

A call to the remote start manufacturer is an other good place to start.

Ultra Start ( most newer models ) and Compustar ( CS600, CM5x00 & CM6x00 ) do have Programming Options to select either Fortin or iDatalink on their RS232 port.  I believe some/most AutoPage units are D2D capable, also.

Idatalink is designed for data or d2d interface with Autopage alarms and remote starters although they can be wired w2w with ANY aftermarket alarm/remote start it just requires more wiring :)
