Hello everyone!
I recently purchased my first basic alarm (Viper 350Plus), and successfully installed it on my 98 Sebring JX, thanks to the guides here at the12volt and bulldog security. Surprisingly, for my first install, everything works great (starter kill, relayed locking system, general alarm features), except that my aftermarket radio will no longer turn on.
I noticed the moment after I installed my alarm that my radio would no longer turn on. The fuses checked out okay on both the radio harness and the fuse box. I also checked the connection at the back of the radio to see if anything came loose, which nothing did.
To be honest, I really don't know much about car electronics, and was only able to do this thanks to numerous guides and hours of research beforehand. It really seems like the radio's failure to turn on has something to do with my alarm install, but I would like to know if I could be wrong.
I have searched the internet for anyone with a similar problem, but could not find anything. I am sorry if this post disobeys any forum rules. Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting would greatly be appreciated.

Car is 1998 Chrysler Sebring JX (convertible)
Equipment is a Viper 350Plus with basic alarm, starter kill, and keyless entry.

What make is the aftermarket radio?
The wiring for the radio will include one lead constant, 12v+, one switched ACC, 12v+ and a ground 0v.
Use a DMM and check these leads, also is there a chassis fuse on the rear of the radio itself?
You should check your fuses using continuity on a DMM, not by looking at them.

The make of the radio is a Clarion DB185MP. It has two constant 12v+ leads, one switched ACC, and a ground as you mentioned. There are two chassis fuses on the rear of radio, which I visually inspected. I'll buy a DMM today and check the fuses again.
