Hello all, I have a 04 yukon denali. I have already installed the alarm portion of the 5901. The remote start portion is not working. the remote give me a remote start error with no flashes. the alarm box clicks, but nothing.  It has also been programmed for automatic tranmission. I also have the IDATALINK ADS-DLSL-GM1 module connected. I have the remote start wired like so:

NC-Not connected

H3
1.Pink (+)Ignition 1 Input/Output - Pink wire, shows +12V in run and start positions
2.RED / White (87) Flex Relay Input (30A Fused) - NC
3.Orange (+)Accessory Output - Orange wire, shows +12V in run but not start position
4.Violet (+)Starter Output (Car Side Of Starter Kill) - Starter side of purple wire (cut), shows +12V in start position
5.Green (+)Starter Input (Key Side Of Starter Kill) - Ignition switch side of above purple wire
6.Red Ignition 1 Input (30A Fused) - Constant +12V
7.Pink/White (30) Flex Relay Output - NC
8.Pink/Black (87a) Flex Relay Input - NC
9.RED / Black Accessory/Starter Relay Input (30A Fused) - Constant +12V
10.No Connection

The tach wire is connected to the idatalink module. I do not have the neuteral safety connected, as there is a switch that comes with it. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't see any where that you connected a second ignition or a second acc( not needed most of the time). 2 ign is white, 2 acc is brown if you choose to hook it up.

I have not hooked up a second ignition. I thought it was not needed.

Ok, The way I had the vehicle hooked up, when i remote started, it would be stuck in second gear. I had the Red and RED / Blk hooked together. I changed the wiring to how it appeared to need to be. Now the car does not  remote start. Any and all help would be apprectiated.

Try this:

Viper H3/                                                      Yukon

1.Pink (+)Ignition 1 Input/Output        - Pink wire, shows +12V in run and start positions
2.RED / White (87) Flex (30A Fused)   - Red @ Ignition Switch Harness
3.Orange (+)Accessory Output           - Orange wire, shows +12V in run but not start position
4.Violet (+)Starter Output (Car Side Of Starter Kill) - Starter side of purple wire (cut), shows +12V in start position
5.Green (+)Starter Input (Key Side Of Starter Kill)  - Ignition switch side of above purple wire
6.Red Ignition 1 Input (30A Fused)   -  Red @ Ignition Switch Harness
7.Pink/White (30) Flex Relay Output  - White @ Ignition Switch Harness ***Viper Menu 3, Item 8, Opt 1
8.Pink/Black (87a) Flex Relay Input   - NC
9.RED / Black Acc/Starter (30A Fused) - Red @ Ignition Switch Harness
10.No Connection

Brown ACC2 wire at ignition switch harness requires extra 30/40A SPDT relay :
Pin 85 to Viper Orange (-)200mA Accessory2 Output
Pin 86 and 87 to +12V Constant thru 20A fuse
Pin 30 to Brown ACC2 @ Ignition Switch Harness
Pin 87A not used - insulate

Thank you. I will try this in the morning. What size relay?

Standard Bosch style automotive 30/40 Amp 5 pin Single Pole Double Throw relay. It has been pointed out that the ACC2 circuit on these style GM vehicles is not absolutely necessary.  It powers only non-essential circuits.

Thanks. I did, and I received 8 codes all reference tx shift solenoid or some other code for the tranny. I haven't driven it to see if it is stuck in second, I just erased the cides
