Searched and found a couple threads on this topic, but they were several years old and were closed... On my wife's 06 Trailblazer I installed a keless entry and used a DEI 457G interface. Everything works fine,all doors and hatch unlock, but when you lock the doors, the hatch won't lock. Do I need a diffeent interface? or is this one faulty? I assume it doesn't need programming, since it seems to be communicating with the vehicle? Thanks...

That was a problem with some 457G's. Try changing that to a GMDLBP, it's cheap and works well. And fixes that problem.

I've ordered a DB-GMDLBP..... I will post results after changing it over...Thanks for the quick reply....

I got the new interface installed, but now I have to press the unlock button on the transmitter 3 times to get the doors to unlock. It's like it needs a triple pulse to unlock the doors....Any suggestions?

I figured out the problem.... I had to go into the GMDLBP's programming and set the to Driver's Door Priority to OFF.... It now unlocks with one touch of the UNLOCK button on the transmittter. . posted_image
