Can anyone help me with this unusual problem, I installed the V5101 and xk531 on my 2000 WJ, it works fine, exept for the dome light stays on the entire time even while I'm driving.

I cut the yellow wire for the parking lights at the stiring column and attached the WHITE/ brown and white wires to it as directed in the installation guide, can this be the issue? the jumper is set to negative as well. please help!

Dont know what a WJ is. but did you try unhooking your connection for the pk lights and restoring the wire, and see what happens then.
