viper 5301 remote confirmation tones?

I put in the Viper 5301 remote car start on my 2003 Toyota Corolla last night and almost everything seems to be running properly, as it should.

However, I only get LED confirmations, and never confirmation sounds or tones.  Is there something I failed to attach or a setting I need to adjust?

If you don't have the Owners Manual, go to the Downloads section of this site and download it.  Starting on page 17 will be the explanation of setting up the remote.

You will want the "UNLOCK"  LED to be ON for normal beeps.
