Hello All,

I own a 2007 RAV4 and after searching over the Internet I decided to buy a Viper 5301 remote start system and a PK-05 as key bypass module.
I bought them both from the Internet and the dealer also sent me a detailed install manual including pictures and wire diagrams (very similar with diagrams found on this site).
Unfortunately my car seems not to respect these diagrams and this is happening be cause my car does not have a classical key ignition system but has a Start/Stop button, so I am unable to find the ignition harness.
I was unable to find any diagram for this kind of ignition system. Can anybody help me please?

Vehicle information:
Build date: November 2007
Model: RAV4 - 4WD Luxury (this model is commercialized by Toyota in Europe)
Engine: 2.0 VVt-i
Tramsmition: manual.

Here is a picture of the dash:

*You can see the start button. Please ignore the red squares.

Here are the connectors under the steering-wheel:

At the bottom of the IMAGE there is another connector (not fully included in the picture) but wires colors are not corresponding with install diagrams for ignition harness.

And here is the start button connector

Thank you,
   Alex

You need a bypass designed for push to start. Go to www.idatalink.com and look for document 5284. You will need to go to 2009 Rav4 as it wasn't availabe here until then.  By the pictures it looks just like the American version so my guess is it should work...
