I have installed a avital 4103 in a 98 camry and the door locks are not working. I have double even triple checked the wiring. I have also metered it, checked to make sure the + is not set on the avital. Do I have to do anything in programing? or is something I am missing? Any help would be great to stop pulling my hair out (at least what left).....

Two initial tests:
The wires you selected on the vehicle, have you grounded each to see if they work?
Have you tested your Avital outputs?

-------------
Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Avital green to dark blue/white.
Avital blue to dark blue.
Both on orange plug at fusebox.

Sorry for the delay in getting back... I have tested the wires you have said to use I have the green wire hooked up to blue/white wire and when I ground it out it works, now the alarm will only work once awhile. I have tested grounding it out at the factory harness and the one at the alarm and it works every time. When I push the remote button it work once every 25-30 times. When I tested the blue wire I am getting -12 volt from that wire. I have not tried to ground it out in fear I will pop the fuse or something worst. Every thing else works fine. When you are programming the unit how to you choose option 1 from the remote. I know how to get in programming and get to the feature. It not clear on the feature option. I hit lock on the remote and unlock to select the option but I always get a 2 honks on the unlock?
