Anyone use this feature? Everything works fine, lock, unlock, remote start, trunk pop and all triggers. But option #16 on menu 3 is supposed to lock on remote start and after remote start. It UNLOCKS on remote start instead. Even if the doors are already locked/armed, it will unlock and start the car. It will lock on shut down, if the option is enabled or not. The remote start safe-lock feature is clearly explained in the owners manual and isn't supposed to do this.
Since this is a push to start install you have to hit unlock anyway or the engine will stop if you open the door without pressing it. To make it fool proof I'd like to have it lock on remote start so that you must hit unlock to even get in.
Is this defective? Or do I have to jury-rig it with a second starter wire?

what kind of vehicle? do you have the factory disarm wire connected? sounds like the disarm wire is also unlocking the car

2009 Hyundai Genesis Sedan.
Didn't work right in D2D with the dball, so I switched to wire to wire. I didn't connect the arm and disarm wires since the oem alarm arms and disarms with lock and unlock.
If I disable safe-lock and lock/arm with the Python before remote starting it will not set off the factory alarm, so I don't think the dball programming is the culprit. It did this in D2D as well as wire to wire.
