Doesn't it get cold in Wisconsin? Why not pick up a remote for $25 and use it? Remote start for $25 is cheap!

If you are not interested in using the system and want to remove it, it is a straight forward process if you are familiar with wiring. There should have been no factory harnesses replaced, simply tapped into. Take it one wire at a time, and insulate any connections you remove. Reconnect any wires that may have been cut (starter kill, etc).
