I'm having problems with the remote start on the Viper 5701 in my 2000 Honda Civic Dx (Manual Trans.) that i installed myself everything works excepts the remote start when i try turning it on i get 7 flashes & a error on the flash button from the remote which says it means (Manual Trans. mode is enabled and not initialized) I've tried going through the steps for the manual trans. but i still get an error on the remote at first it would work and I'd take out the key and the engine will stay running till i arm it but it would never crank or start when i remote start it, but now i cant even get it to that stage i just get an error on the remote here are the connections

Here are a few things to check, as listed in the Viper install guide.

• Remote start MTS mode failure
The remote emits a failure notification when trying to enable the manual transmission
mode or the vehicle fails to stay remote started when the key is turned off.

Possible causes are:
  • Hood Open (gray wire).
  • Foot Brake active (brown wire).
  • No Parking Brake input, BLACK/ white neutral safety wire not showing ground with parking brake set.
  • Tachometer is not hooked up or programmed.
  • The unit has not been programmed for tachometer mode.
  • Toggle switch not installed or not in the ON position.

BLACK/ WHITE Neutral safety switch input

Connect this wire to a ground source if installing this unit in an automatic transmission vehicle. If this unit is being installed in a manual transmission vehicle then connect it to the emergency brake wire. This input MUST rest at ground in order for the remote start system to operate.

From page 45 of the Install Manual

Yeah i hooked up the Blk/Wht to the emergency brake, but i dont understand why its not letting me enable it to mts mode when it was working only once though but it wouldn't start or crank after trying to start it with the remote now its just giving me 7 flashes and error on flash

Assuming that all needed wires are attached correctly, door triggers, Hood pin, Brake, ect,  I would try unplugging the heavy gauge harness and the H1 harness from the module for 10-15-30 minuets and see if that might clear anything. Plug them back in and see what happens.  make sure the unit is in the manual transmission mode.

Okay double checked everything and unplugged harness 1 and plugged it back the only thing i found wrong was the brake switch was on the negative instead of positive remote start still doesn't work though, but can it be that VIOLET cable from the remote start output MUST be hooked up to a SPDT relay to bypass the clutch cause i only have it connected to the clutch cable?

Try a remote start while you depress the clutch pedal.  ( Stay in the car after you set reservation mode. )

Okay just tried it still got the error flash on remote and 7 flashes on car, can it be that i might need the SPDT relay or bypass module ?
