I just installed a Viper 5501 in my 98 Dodge Dakota...I get a remote Start Error when I try to start. The lights blink 8 Times, According to the manual. Neutral safety wire has no ground or the neutral
safety switch is Off. I have tried grounding it to the chassis and tied in with the system ground. It does not make a difference. Any help would be great.

Is the truck a Automatic or Manual?? Is the toggle switch plugged in and in the ON position? Where is the BLACK/ White (-) Nutral saftey input connected.

The truck is an automatic. Toggle Switch is plugged in and On. BLACK/ white wire is currently connected to the ground in the driver side kick panel.

Got it working, The toggle switch wasn't plugged in all the way.
