Hey Guys,

I need some help figuring out how to wire up an Avital 4003L remote start unit to a 2002 Tahoe with Keyless entry. I want to use the Keyless entry to unlock/lock and start the vehicle. I have the idatalink Solo Series ADS-TBSL PL module. I have wired up the Heavy gauge 6 wire connector from the Avital 4003L to the truck so far. The Avital only has 6  heavy wires and seems like I needed 7 to completely wire the Tahoes electrical to it. I doubled up the Accessory 2 wire and the Ignition 2 wire from the truck(small gauge wire) to the second Accessory connection on the Avital 4003L. Will this work correctly? I wired up one 12v source wire to the red 12v wire at the ignition and the other 12v source wire to the RED / white wire at the ignition. Both were heavy gauge wire and had constant 12v when truck was off. I need help figuring out which wires I need to hook up and which ones don't get used for the Avital 4003l and the Module when being used in conjuction with the factory keyless entry system. Any help would be grreatly appreciated so I dont get chewed out by the old lady If I cant get this thing running.

From what I can find, not sure if I have the correct install guide, your heavy gauge harness should be :

The two Red wires with the fuses to Red(12 volt +),  Violet to Yellow(starter), Pink to Pink (ingition 1), Pink/White to White ( ignition2),  Orange to Orange(accessory1)... Accessory 2 needs a relay via the 4 pin satillite harness, (orange (-) 200ma)

Use a DMM to verify the wires you are connecting to on your vehicle.

Does the accessory 2 wire have to be connected for the remote start to function correctly? What will I lose if the accessory 2 wire is left disconnected?

I need to know how to wire up the main harness to the truck and which wire will tell the remote start to activate from the factory key fob.  I am guessing that i will have to set the remote starter to start on 3 pulses of the lock button. 1 locks  second one sounds horn and locks so then the 3rd time will hopefully start the truck and keep the doors locked.
