Hi guys. I'm thinking about installing a r/s on the wifes truck. I just wanted to see what you guys might recommend as far as the bypass module. I know there are a few to choose from. I'm not sure what system I will be using but it will most likely be a dei product. I hear people saying with certain bypass module the newer gm vehicles are fairly easy. Just wanted to get some tips from the pros.
Thank you. Any help is greatly appriceated.

A GMDLBP is very similar to the 1700G and gives you lock/unlock/disarm/passlock bypass all in one thru 1 wire. I use them on every Trailblazer/Envoy I do. No flaws whatsoever.

The 1700G will do locks as well. But i just looked and its been discontinued. Ive used the 1701G worked good for me. Same as 1700 just newer. Gets the data through one wire at the obd plug

XK01 comes preloaded with AMDL firmware that will do everything the GMDL-BP or 1700G will do, plus window rollup on all 4 windows with a second press of the lock button. Manufacture is xpresskit.com I have used this bypass many times on this car, works great. BTW, the brown 2nd accessory needs to be powered up on a 08 Trailblazer, so you will need a relay.
