I have a viper 5901 I purchased a couple years or so ago. I installed it in my Dodge and removed it when I traded it. I'm now trying to get it installed in my new F150 but I have misplaced the install wiring manual..

I went online to download another copy of it and I have found a bunch of PDF downloads for the 5901 manual but they are different then mine (My H2 harness is 18 pin not 8)... My Viper module, owners manual and the box all say 5901 but all the install manuals I find keep showing the 8 pin H2 plug...

Did they make different 5901's

Any idea? I'm baffled and kinda stuck without the right manual.

They did make a different version of the 5901. all they did was combine a few smaller plugs into one large one. You can look at the other guide and go by wire color to get everything you need.

Appreciate it... I was concerned the wire colors may be different.
