2007 Nbs silverado, factory keyless and remote start
Hi,amateur here but studying hard, am ready to add alarm, Autopage c730, and expresskit dlpk module. Plan to use d2d where possible, and am I to understand I don't need an additional rf loop, as d2d will handle interfacing with the factory start? Recommendations of alternate module would be welcome, thanks

2007 Silverado New Body Style

The DLPK will work without a PK3 antenna loop but might draw more current than other bypass modules.   This could be an issue depending on how often you use the truck.   Might be a good idea to call DEI to find out.  Same bypass as the Fortin CAN SL2 but with DEI D2D comm protocol.

Not sure if the Autopage c730 unit can go D2D with DEI bypass modules.  The C730 unit info has this bullet item :   New On-board Serial Port for i-Data Link Data Bus and Bypass module integration.    AST iDatalink modules have their own D2D protocol.  IMHO, D2D might save some install time but W2W always works.

The iDatalink ADS ALSL GM bypass module with the ADS RNG GM3 will work, comes pre-loaded with firmware, draws only 7mA at rest and will go D2D with the AutoPage R/S and provides similar functionality to the DLPK but will cost more.

Thanks Creg, yes i see autopage is optimized for the idatalink modules and i don't find idat too beginner friendly. I've decided to go for the Crimeguard 830i7 and the blade cartridge module, has all the features i want and should interface pretty well with the trucks data connections, will use wtw where necessary. I'm going to forgo a loop and accept the 30 m/a draw, I have lots of battery.
