trying to connect my factory seat heater controls to a remote start. I have fopund info that shows wht/blue and grey / YELLOW as the wires going into the heater module.  But testing shows a change on two wires  in  the 8 volt range(output side?)  Any insite?  Don't really want to mess up the heater module on this one.(it's cold up here)

some places say positive, while others say its negative.  it rest at 10 volts and goes to ground when you press the factory button, but is this just the input side before the buttons or is it the output?

Can't help with your Q, but "heat seaters" made me chuckle...

Mike would that have anything to do with heat seekers? Or have I lost the plot? Poster here's a way to do it by avoiding the BCU just go directly to the element pos wires.
The switch lower right is optional allows you to turn it off in summer, 12v LEDs are optional but the 3 diodes, 1N4004 AREN'T.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
