I installed a 1 button 4203p python remote starter in a 2005 Lexus GX470 last night.  I had troubles with the XK05 programming with the vehicle.   I was using the PKTI firmware for this, and everyone claims that it works.  When I attempt to program the XK05 it does not finish.  Steps to program, 1. Plug unit in, 2. LED lights up solid, 3. Insert valid key, 4. LED should Flash rapidly and then shut off completing the progamming.  Instead it just flashes and never shuts off, therefore not saving the progamming.  I re-flashed the XK05 a bunch of times, even to different firmware and then back to PKTI.  I verified that I am getting proper power, keysense, and RX and TX wires, all appear to be correct.    I also tried D2D and W2W, which only elimates power and status.

Any help would be appreciated.  Not sure if I have a bad module or possible semi faulty remote start unit.

remove GWR wire and reprogram.
when you are done programming reconnect gwr wire

I was pretty sure I tried that, I had to do it for another vehicle once.  I will have to give that a shot though
