I will be doing a 2010 Altima remote start in the near future and I am am looking for some advice. I have been doing research on the car and it seems to be pretty tricky and there have been some major issues that I've found. So any insight is appreciated.
I plan on going with the basic Python 4103 starter with a Fortin Evo-All bypass. I'm hoping that the Evo-All will come pre-loaded with the required firmware but I will probably grab the update cables just in case.
Any insight, optinions, tips, etc are appreciated!!!

Make sure the EVO-ALL is Hardware Version 3 or 4 and Firmware Version 4.0 or higher. Makes for a less involved install.

Yea, I'm going to make sure it is a hardware version 4 and as far as firmware if the seller can verify it for me great if not, I'll have to pick up the firmware updater piece and update it myself.

Who has the most accurate wiring information on this car? I know that the bypass will supply quite a bit of the connections, but I like to have something to cross check with if needed.

Wire magic has 3 or 4 pages just for Altima and maxima pts. Most everything is right on.

I unfortunately don't have access to wire magic anymore. How about the Ready remote (which i believe is a version of directwire) Thats usually where I get my info from...

the evo-all hardware 4 ships with 4.00 firmware. I suggest you update to 4.2 or you will have key takeover problems. did one of these and they are much easier said than done. the evoall definitely helps reduce time.
i use installogy, but that's wiremagic i believe. i have a diagram from fortin and its pretty exact. If you need PM me and i will send you a copy.

I ordered the updater along with the bypass so I should be able to update it to 4.2. hopefully it will also come with the directions if not I'm sure i can get it online. If I have any issues I'll PM you. Thanks.

Were there any snags that you ran into or any issues at all? It looks like almost everything can be grabbed right behind the cluster... which doesn't seem like its "horrible" to get out...

no issues, just its a lengthy process for this car. sure everything can be grabbed at the bcm behind the cluster, but you have to wiggle the bcm so it can drop and it makes it much easier to work with. If not you're going to have trouble soldering wires etc.

How far will it drop? And do I just wiggle it and it will come out or do I have to unbolt it anywhere?
