So my wife asked me to get her one for Christmas, well so I did. But it looks harder then I thought. It's a python 1401 I got a wiring diagram for it but some of the wires don't seem to be matching up with the remote start an the bypass module. Does anyone have any tips or pointers. Thanks.

Bulldog web site lists two ignition, and two accessory, & one starter. You will need at least one relay in conjunction with the 5 pin Remote start auxillary harness.

Do a search on this site for 2007 trailblazer. It might have more of the info you are looking for.

What type/model of bypass are you using?    Does your trailblazer have keyless entry?

I just did an 06 using the GMDLBP or something like that (shows up on xpresskit.com). It came pre-programmed and made life real easy. Just had to connect the ignition wires, parking light wire, brake wire, and ground. The starter automatically activated when the acc lost power, so the starter connection was not needed.

Someone said something about a relay, I don't see the need for it anywhere. If so could you help.

yes, there are 2 ignition wires AND 2 accessory wires. Most remote starters only have one secondary ignition / accessory wire (selectable) and so you need to use that wire to the 2nd ignition and connect a relay to the 2nd accessory.
