Also what is the idea behind isolating the ignition switch?
Finally has anyone done a step by step description of Python 991 with DB-ALL on Nissan frontier?

Done*; the explanation is in the file but I came across and independently solved this problem on European Peugeots a couple of years ago.
Ignitions 1 and 2 are commoned. If you R/S the vehicle with the alarm on it feeds back down to ignition 1 and triggers the alarm, also you can get a feed back which might affect the engine management.
