Well I'm back. I tried to post in the thread I started four years ago but it's closed.
So it's an 08 F350 6.4L diesel. I have the Omega RS-4LX remote start. I am STILL having an issue with it. It will start every time fine but it turns itself off after 15 seconds. It doesn't do it every time either. I spent a couple hours today trying to figure if it had a pattern and I came up empty. It works probably 40% of the time. The other 60% of the time it turns on then off after 15 seconds. It will do it's normal retry and then turn off again. I would say 1 out of every 10 times it does this it stays on normally after the 3rd attempt. It's been doing this for the last four years and I'm simply tired of it. The diagnostic LED is giving two flashes which means "low battery voltage or an additional ignition may be needed". I'm going to try one more time to get it working right then it's in the trash. If you guys have any thoughts let me know. I will try to contact Omega about it as well but I don't even know if they still exist.

Not familiar with the Omega products...
Are you doing voltage sense or tach mode with a wire going to a good tach output?
I have heard that some Fords delay the alternator output after the engine is started, which could cause your problem if doing voltage sense.

It's on voltage sense with option 5 "voltage supervision" turned on. But I was actually wrong in the LED diagnostics. It flashes twice but that means "brake pedal was pressed or the hood was opened." I disconnected the hood pin but it still does not work. FYI I just remote started it three times (on and off via remote) and it worked fine all three times. It's totally random on when it works or not.
Did you try disconnecting the brake input maybe something is back feeding to the remote start. To me it still sounds like a tach issue or in your case a voltage issue you could try turning off engine checking and believe your truck has factory anti grind so you could set the crank time to like 4 seconds and see if the truck stays running
