2006 f 150 remote starter

Can anyone provide me a color code wire chart for this truck 06 f150 lariat it's all I'm missing to install my remote starter

Thank you for your help I will be doing it on Sunday I'll let you know how it goes.

I just did one of these today. pretty straight forward. the only hang up i had was finding the dang horn wire. Messed around for an hour and could not find a neg. trigger for horn. dark blue wire in steering column sat at 12+. only one i could find. even tested all five wires at connector right at steering wheel. no negative wire. unlug the connector and no horn. plug it back in i get horn. Did not find any 12+ trigger either. this one has me stumped. If you find it let me know. I know i am just being stupid by not finding the horn.

Ive done a bunch of these trucks its dark at the column. How are you testing? It should rest at 12v then go to 0v when you press the horn button

Yep, that is what i got to when testing with my DMM. but bulldog and dei wire charts call for it to be a negative trigger when the horn is pressed, so the negative horn output on the r/s will not sound the horn then. Or am i missing something here?

The Horn is a Dark Blue wire in a 6 Pin connector on the right side of the steering column.  It is a (-) signal.  Test with a DMM set to 20V DC, Red lead on +12V constant and Black lead on the suspect wire.  The DMM should go to +12V when the horn is pressed.  This wire can also be found at the BCM, Blue Plug, Pin12.  The remote starts' (-) Horn Output should work fine.

Kreg357 that is the wire i tested also. It sat at +12v and when i pressed the horn it went to 0 volts. Just like chev104275 said in an earlier post. How is that a neg. trigger. Also tried continuity to ground on the blue wire when the horn is pressed and there was none. I guess I just cant wrap my head around this one.

Kinda think of it as a  reverse wired circuit.  The +12V goes from the battery to the (+)  side of the horn.  The (-) side of the horn goes thru that Dark Blue wire and to the horn button.  Pressing the horn button supplies the path to ground to complete the circuit and beep the horn.  That Dark Blue wire floats at +12V waiting for that ground path. 

 If you want to play it safe, cut the Dark Blue wire and try to beep the horn.  If you got the right wire, it shouldn't beep.  Use your DMM on resistance and connect one lead to chassis ground and the other lead to the horn button side of the cut Dark Blue wire.  You should have an open circuit until you press the button.  With the horn button pressed it should be very close to a dead short.  Next touch the horn side of the cut Dark Blue wire to chassis ground.  ( I use a test lead with alligator clips at both ends and a 10A fuse in the middle. )  The horn should beep.

What color is the ignition# 2 wire on the ignition harness it dosent tell on the chart.

There isn't one.  Only one Ignition, one Accessory and one Starter.   ( Test to be sure.)

I installed everything seems to be right but it won't start with the remote I sat inside the car and try to start it with a remote, the dash lights turn on like when the switch is on but it won't start . What can I do?

Plenty of possibilities here.  It would help if we knew a few pertinent facts. 

What brand / model remote start?    Programming & setup issues.

What brand / model bypass module?   Programming & wiring issues 

List all of your wire connections.

I have the bulldog security model Delux 500. I got it to start once with the remote but when I'm programming it doesn't let me program from step five on the alarm feature and from the step six on the start feature. What can I do? It doesn't want to start when I press the*button twice like it's supposed to do from factory settings.

Now It won't turn the dash lights on like when the switch is on, like it did before when I press the * button 2 times and it still dosen't won't start.

Not familiar with the Deluxe 500 unit.  Standard Bulldog RS1100 / RS1200 are easy to program but the Deluxe 500 is completely different. 

Is this a 500B unit?  What are you using as a transponder bypass?

It's a Delux 500 and the bypass is a universal alarm bypass module. Model #s 20402 & 29402.
