Hello all

My intellistart works great for the most part. My only question is when I have the car started and want to leave it running I press the button and the starter engauges and grinds. I have re-set the tach but that does not seem to help. Is this part of the voltage setting? If so what should the voltage be set at?

99 GMC Suburban

Thanks

Intellistart only works with tach, there was a second "engineering" method but tach is used on 99% of installs. If the original installer didn't use tach, they were doing something wrong.
More likely no anti-grind installed.

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
