I have successfully installed the alarm but cannot hook up the central locking...when i tried to use the door lock relay the central locking stopped wokring altogether even with the key!
The alarm installed is a magicar cm3000 module. And the car it is installed on is a 1994 honda civic 4door. Please can anyone help? do i need to go to an auto electrician?
first check your fuses, you may blown one.
this the info i have for that car:
Power Lock GREEN / WHITE SWITCH OR DOORLOCK CONTROL
Power Unlock GREEN/ RED UNIT IN DRIVER DOOR #201
#201- See Negative Pulse Door Lock Diagram.

fuses are perfect...its 01:10 am here at the moment in the uk so i will try the wires tmrw morning..thanks...btw could i have blown the solenoid/acutators on the door locks??
maybe but im not sure how or what you hooked up.you can always pull a door panel and check the wires.find the motor wires and make two jumpers. put one to 12v and the other to ground. the motor will operate one way and if you switch the wires around it go the other way. if it works then its not your motor.

went to honda and they sorted the central locking out....but i still need to solve which wires to place where from the alarm door lock relay module to the car wiring...i have found the lock and unlock wires GREEN / WHITE and GREEN/ RED in the drivers kick panel...but there isnt any reading on my multimeter...should there be a reading coming from these wires? can anyone help me becuase EVERYTHING else works perfectly in the car and the alarm inc remote start! Thanks in advance!
The wires should have 12 volts on both and when you touch (-) to them the door is supposed to lock or unlock.
