Hi- THis is my first home install, please forgive me for my inexperience. Awesome website btw, this is one of the best organized/operated forums I have seen.

To the point, I installed this starter in my 94 gmc 1500 truck. It starts the truck fine , but for some reason the parking lights are not recieving a signal. I connected the main parking light wire (indicated by yellow highlight) figuring that it would provide the output. Do I also need to tap the wire (-) from the other harness (#3 red highlight)? I coulnd't seem to get an output from it when I tested it with my meter.

There was no identified horn output off the unit, can I use Aux 1 output (green highlight) so I get the horn chirp? Will this also enable me to utilize the built in alarm function?

Is it possible to use Aux 2 output (green highlight) to provide power/signal to my power windows, enabiling me to roll the windows down with my fob?

What is the purpose of dual 12v power supply wires? I ended up connecting them both to a dedicated power supply wire off the battery (which I doubt is the intended purpose).

Sorry, I feel retarded asking these questions but am trying to teach myslef and am just spinning my wheels by searching around. Hopefully the image is clear enough.

Thanks!

Parking lights:
You only need to use one of the parking light outputs. If the wire you are tapping into is positive when the lights are on then use the positive output (yellow). If they are negative when the lights are on, use the negative output (yellow highlighted with red). Test the parking light wire in the truck with a DMM to determine + vs -

Horn:
You cannot use the aux output for the horn unless you simply want to be able to beep the horn by pressing the aux button... that is unless there is a programming option for that unit that will turn the aux output into a horn output; but I'm not 100% sure on that unit. The installation manual should tell you the programming options.

Windows:
You cannot just simply use the output to drive the windows. It will require te 529T or 530T window module. With that module you will then be able to use the aux output to raise/lower your windows

Dual 12v supply:
On most units, the power supplies are separated to supply separate signals to the ignition, accessory, starter wires. As long as you are using a strong enough source (which the ignition switch 12v constant should be plenty in that truck) you just tag both wires together to that 12v constant source.

Make sure to test all your connections with a DMM before just making the connection. Wire diagrams / charts can be wrong.
