Is this possible? Tried to do some searching but came up with nothing/ hard to do on iPhone. I really want my 96 integra rs to have command start but would like it secure preferably with something to stop the car from starting with the ignition

You just mean a switch to prevent it from starting? If so then some starters come with that switch, and on any other you can simply connect a switch from a ground signal to the hood pin input. If you have this wire connected to your vehicle hood pin then make sure to use a diode so you aren't sending the ground signal to your factory alarm.

But will that still allow the remote start to function? I was thinking of just installing a switch to disconnect the neutral safety switch from working. Should stop someone from starting the car but still allow the starter to function
