So tomorrow I'll be doing my 3rd remote starter in a 2005 Trailblazer and had just a few questions. I'll be using the AL-CA with the vehicle so I'll be running in data mode.

1) This vehicle needs the 2nd accessory at the ignition harness to be powered up, so do I use the 2nd accessory output from the white 20-pin harness to do that? If so, should I use a relay?

2) Do I need to use a relay for horn or parking light output?

To your question on the white 20pin harness take the second negative ignition output (-) connect to a relay which is given

85 negative ignition
86 constant 12v fused
87 constant 12v
30 second ignition wire on vehicle
87a unused

Parking lights positive straight connection from remote start with the large GREEN / WHITE to brown in the car no relay
Horn Negative straight connection from remote start small white to black in the car no relay
Also hardwire the tach as that car has issues with a data tach. Yellow/ black from
Remote to white in the car. If you dO not hardwire tach eventually you will start to get get error code 1-3 which is an already running code/no tach programmed code

If you want you can use the (-) parking light output (smaller gauge GREEN / WHITE). It will help give 1 less fuse in the bundle to tuck away and its 1 less thing drawing from the power source.
