Another installer did the CM6200. It's fine. I did d2d on a DR1000 I picked up off eBay. It works perfectly fine about 50% of the time, maybe less. The rest of the time it complains of coverage issues, through either the web interface or the phone interface. I've verified solid LED on the unit one of the times it complained of coverage issues.
Being a former reseller of Compustar products I'm familiar with their recurring tendency to bring first run items to production far too quickly. Is this the case with the DR1000 I got, or did I just get a dud? I've seen some sporadic reports online of people with similar problems, but not quite as overwhelming of results as I'd hoped. Don't see where that anyone has had the same problem here on the12volt. If the solution is simply to update to the DR2000 I'm game.
Thoughts from someone with more experience?

I know that there are issues in areas at have slow or limited 3G service.
