Recently I installed a Compustar CS-600s with a I datalink ALCA bypass. The car would remote start and the keless features would work. But when the factory alarm was armed it would go off when remote started or the doors were unlocked with the aftermarket remote. I thought the ALCA bypass would bypas the factory alarm through data when it unlocks and or starts. It wouldent though, I had to hard wire the disarm wire from the CS-600S to the cars disarm wire. I never had this problem with other GM cars with factory alarms. Whats the deal? Is this a special vehical or a defective bypass? The bypass works for the doorlocks, trunk and the passkey, but not the factory alarm.

Interesting.  Haven't done an 2006 GP but have used the GM1 firmware with other vehicles.

Assuming W2W and ADS AL(DL) GM1 firmware W/Type 3 Install.  Did you have the CS600-s Disarm output
wired to the ADS AL CA Brown Disarm Input?

I did it D2D with the  gm1 software and yes type 3 ,I did not conect the C-600s org/wht disarm to any thing to the bypass. I had to conect that wire to the disarm wire on the car to solve the problem. Usualy the bypass always disarms the  factory alarm though. Maybe a bad bypass?
