Hi everybody. This is an excellent board. Very informative. I just purchased a Hornet 554T security / auto start system from e-bay. I have been reading the manual prior to the eventual install in my 1995 GMC Vandura. Are you installers familiar with this system? Is there anyway to install a pushbutton in the vehicle that will (page) the keychain remote? I thought this would be a great feature. Any other thoughts on this system would be appreciated. Thanks. I just installed the 554T myself. The unit has that feature. I believe if you push the valet switch x amount of times, the unit will page the remote.

You have factor in antana placement. However, I was able to use my remote from at least three inner city blocks away.

I don't think the function is mention in the manual. However the icon (12)Vehicle Page Mode Indicator will display after you pushing the valet button. To answer your question, i don't know. It just happen by accident after playing ah programing features.
I will try again and report back to you.

I finally figured it out. In valet mode, press and hold the switch approximately 10 sec. During normal operation, unarmed i think, press and hold the switch between 10-20 sec.
