Most Remote Start units are programmable for a delay. On a cold day, how long does it take for your lamp to go out? Most units have capabilities to delay from 10 to 30 seconds.

Nothing is ever 100% right. That's what a DMM and test light are for

The wiring info I posted is what Audiovox has for the 2012 Ford F-550. As stated earlier, use a volt meter to verify the information. If you are having trouble finding supporting info from other manufacturers, the F-250, 350, and 450 are the same as the 550. Other manufacturers should have info for one of those.

yesterday i installed the remote starter on the truck and the wire diagram was almost close....
this is how i did it....
Battery thick light GREEN/ red
ignition 1 WHITE/ orange
accessory 1 light blue/gray
accessory 2 violet/green
starter blue/white
i did not do the door lock wires cuz the person did not want it, but all the wires i hooked up did work and i tested all the wires and all with my power probe and it worked all good with no problems at all.... thanks guys
NOTE: i was working on a 2012 ford f550 diesel so i dont know if this will work on other "F" trucks and also i had to programe the remote starter to delay the start relay for 10 sec to be safe for cold days... also on his new 2012 truck if you try to start the truck with out letting the wait to start light turn off the truck will not crank at all, not like the older diesel trucks that it will crank and crank intill the light turns off so it can start/run........ i must say this truck was the most easy to install and alot of room to install all your wires and stuff anywhere you want.
