I have a question for my friend, Dave, who needs help wiring up his keyless entry door locks to his remote starter in his 07 Infiniti FX35. I tried searching for this, but didn't come up with anything relevant.

His vehicle has a XK09 module as a bypass for the remote starter and it is connected to his Viper 5501 (4702V) via the D2D port.

I am going to have him pick up an XK02 module with the NISSDL firmware so we can use it for what it supports:

Arm Factory Security
Disarm Factory Security
Door Lock Control
Door Unlock
Trunk / Hatch Release

The question I have as I have never done a car that needed 2 different bypasses, can the D2D port be split with a Y type cable to allow both devices to communicate via D2D or do I have to use W2W to connect this module to his vehicle?

Thanks,
Dan

i know on compustar you can split the d2d and not have issues, cant speak for the viper unit.

using a fortin EVO-all, evo-can will make your life easier than the xk09/02.

the fortin is an all in one solution. If you prefer directed products the DB-ALL or iDatalink ADS-AL-CA
